The Alkaline Kitchen - Mon 20 Feb 7-8pm

This seminar is about the new science on how to understand the basic pathways to illness and wellness.  You will learn how to monitor and develop balance (pH balance) within your body.

How many people do you know with signs of disease: low energy, fatigue, poor digestion, excess weight, foggy thinking, aches and pains, as well as major disorders.  These are all signs of imbalance.

This imbalance including heart disease, cancer and diabetes, can be directly linked to diet.  Microbiologist Dr Robert Young in the USA has discovered that the single measurement most important to your health is the pH of your blood and tissues ie. how acidic or alkaline it is.  Just as your body temperature is rigidly regulated, the blood must be kept in a very narrow pH range - mildly basic or alkaline.  The entire metabolic process depends on an alkaline environment.  Overacidity interrupts all cellular activities and functions, from the beating of your heart to the neural firing of your brain.  Dr Young's research shows that overacidity is the root of all sickness and disease.

In this seminar you will learn about the foods and drinks which are acid forming and those that are alkaline forming in the body.  You will even get to taste them.

The presentation will also give an overview of microscopy ie. the analysis of a drop of blood under a very high resolution microscope.  You will get to see the difference between balanced blood (left) and one that has an acidic environment (right).

If you have an interest in tasting more alkaline/raw food, we have a chef who is keen to put on a raw food menu one evening for us.  We will talk more about this on the night.

There are limited spaces available so please let us know you are coming.  Register for the seminar and go into a draw to win a free massage session.   Click here to register your name.
