Seminar

Do you think you could ride the Taupo 160km cycle event in 4hr 45mins with only 30min training 3x per week with a 1-2hr ride on one other day of the week over only 12 weeks? BodyLab has shown it can be done!

Do you think you could run 0.5kph faster at your lactate threshold with only 30 mins of training 3x per week over 6 weeks? BodyLab has shown it can be done!

This seminar is about the science of High Intensity Interval Training. You will learn why this type of training is so effective and which intervals produce the best results – is it 60sec, 2min, 30sec, 3min, 4min, or 5min intervals? Come and find out and make your training more productive.

You don’t have to be an athlete to learn about this. We prescribe it to some of our exercise rehab clients who are in poor shape.

Alkaline Kitchen for Better Health & Performance

Seminar

This seminar is about the new science on how to understand the basic pathways to illness and wellness.  You will learn how to monitor and develop balance (pH balance) within your body as this will then help you develop an ideal body weight.

How many people do you know with signs of disease: low energy, fatigue, poor digestion, excess weight, foggy thinking, aches and pains, as well as major disorders.  These are all signs of imbalance.

This imbalance including heart disease, cancer and diabetes, can be directly linked to diet.  Microbiologists have discovered that the single measurement most important to your health is the pH of your blood and tissues ie. how acidic or alkaline it is.  Just as your body temperature is rigidly regulated, the blood must be kept in a very narrow pH range – mildly basic or alkaline.  The entire metabolic process depends on an alkaline environment.  Overacidity interrupts all cellular activities and functions, from the beating of your heart to the neural firing of your brain.

In this seminar you will learn about the foods and drinks which are acid forming and those that are alkaline forming in the body.

The presentation will also give an overview of microscopy ie. the analysis of a drop of blood under a very high resolution microscope.  You will get to see the difference between balanced blood (left) and one that has an acidic environment (right).

There are limited spaces available so please let us know you are coming. Register for the seminar and go into a draw to win a free massage session. Email us at info@bodylab.co.nz or complete the enrollment form below
