Quantitative Job Demand Analysis (QJDA)

All occupations require some degree of physical exertion.  The Quantitative Job Demand Analysis is the process of analysing a job for the purpose of defining those physical demands. This is a systematic assessment that is carried out in the workplace +/- photos and video analysis.  It provides accurate and objective information on the physical demands, environmental conditions and duration of job tasks within your workplace.  Hazards may be identified through this process but it is not the purpose of this assessment. 

Our consultants have training in this system which has proven reliability.  Reports are easy to read with objective useful information.  The assessment will be carried out within your workplace with as little disruption to your workforce as possible.

You will find it a useful tool with which to base return to work decision making on.  You can match a worker’s functional ability to the job demands and allow them to perform a graduated return to work program involving meaningful work.  This service helps the employee get back on the job sooner, insuring a positive outcome and savings for all involved

It is also helpful when matching workers to appropriate jobs and minimizing risk of injury.  It can be used to assist you write more accurate job descriptions particularly in regard to physical job demands.
